Recommended every 5 years, this service can improve the performance and maintain the long life of your Aerus product. Plus, your local franchise may guarantee for one year - if a problem arises that should have been caught by the inspection, it will be repaired for free!
Canister
16-Point Preventative Maintenance Program
This program entails inspection and, if necessary, repair of any Aerus canister vacuum (excludes the power nozzle).
1. A Continuity Test is performed before servicing
Motor Inspection
2. Examination of motor and cleaning of all component parts (if applicable)
3. Inspection of fans
4. Inspection of bearings
5. Inspection of armature for wear
6. Inspection of carbon brush; a run-in procedure is performed
7. Operational and safety tests are performed
Cordwinder Inspection
8. Mechanical operation checked
9. Inspection of spring assembly
10. Inspection of plug and cleaning of cord and cordwinder contacts
